Purpose: A national, non-profit organization, the Canadian Anesthesiologists' Society is dedicated to the advancement of the medical practice of anesthesia through academic endeavour and excellence in patient care. The Society publishes the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia and the Guidelines to the Practice of Anesthesia, holds an annual meeting, and funds research in Canada.
