Purpose: FRPO is the voice of the residential housing industry in Ontario, representing the owners, builders, managers and financiers of 200,000 rental units across the province. It is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting equitable options for rental housing, including shelter allowances for the needy, legislated protection for all tenants against unconscionable rent increases and the gradual phasing out of rent controls. It provides spokespeople, research material and general information on rental housing.
