Purpose: The Council of Canadians with Disabilities is a national self-help advocacy organization of persons with disabilities. Since 1976, the CCD has advocated for equality rights and access in issues such as employment, human rights, transportation, housing, income security, independent living, access to information. CCD has intervened in court cases of importance to our community.
