Purpose: The Canadian Register identifies health service psychologists who meet supplementary educational and training criteria beyond those required for licence to practise as set by provincial/territorial regulating bodies. The current number of registrants is approximately 3,000 psychologists from all parts of Canada. A Directory is published annually and also available on the web site. Leadership is provided in the development of national standards, quality control and innovative psychological services.
