Purpose: The Society promotes appropriate conflict management and education in dispute resolution. Its objective is public awareness of dispute resolution processes such as arbitration and mediation in a range of fields. Over 35 regular courses and customized training programs, including certificate programs in Conflict Management, are available in post-secondary campuses in Alberta. Also available is a Directory of Arbitrators and Mediators (composed of its members).
