Purpose: The YWCA of Metro Toronto is a voluntary association of women from all communities, working together to create better lives for women at home and abroad.
For 120 years the YWCA's services and programs have responded to the real needs of women and youth -- access to affordable housing and shelters, opportunities to upgrade academic, personal and working skills, advocacy and counselling for women who have experienced violence or mental illness, fitness and recreation programs.
The YWCA of Metropolitan Toronto is a member of the United Way of Greater Toronto.
