Abstract: 
The WOMEN'S HEALTH EDUCATION PROJECT as organized in Northwestern Ontario is inteded to promote personal responsibility for women's health through education. As a result of the information generated, it's hoped that women will be empowering to act. The four-member collective plans to help 13 target communitties in the region gear their health eduction to their own specific needs using questionaires, workshops, and other means. The project, which began in September 1982, is funded by Health and Welfare Canada for a three-year period.
