WFPL documentary film that criticizes society's direction in the early decades of the 20th century.

Abstract:
The title itself is ironic as the film is a criticism of society. Opening with scenes of the World’s Fair – American flags along the esplanade, a “Plantation Spectacle”, well-dressed couples being pulled in carts by depression-era workers, the intertitle, “A Hundred Years of Progress!” repeats over dancing skeletons, flag-waving, burlesque booths, racist attractions and pictures of Fascist dictators. Donated to The Walter P. Reuter Library of Wayne St. University. 18 mins.
